● Definition of Ship's
1.

DWT (Dead-Weight Tonnage) :  Weight tonnage to involve the fuel, the fresh waler and provision etc. to be required for running to the weight of net cargo to be loaded in ship.

GT (Gross Tonnage) :  Displacement tonnage to mean the volume of all closed spaces for ship.

N.T (Net Tonnage) : As the tonnage to subtract the volume of space to be required for running, such as the machinery room, the cabin and the ballast tank etc, from Gross tonnage, mainly to mean the volume of space which is be able to load the cargo.

CGRT (Compensated Gross Tonnage) : According to the relative difficulty of the kind of ship and the ship's type, the acquired tonnage multiply the conversion factor by GT, as it is the method to assess for the same level of the constructing quantities, and CGRT is different as the method of estimation.

DT (Displacement Tonnage) : This tonnage to be equal to the same weight of fluid (buoyancy) as the ship's volume under water line. That is, the light weight as ship's self-weight added to DWT makes DT.
