Yoowon Industries Co. Ltd. aims to produce the worlds best goods. We are an enterprise which has been selected by the Ministry of Trade and the Ministry of National Defense to supply the highest quality equipment. We have been manufacturing steering gears, fuel lubrication oil filter units, deck machines, and lubrication oil console units for generating units for many years. These products are an important part of any vessels operation and our products are always developed, and constructed, based on rigid inspection and quality control. Through the introduction of our quality management system we obtained ISO9001 certifications. We also acquired an ISO14001 certification because we are committed to producing, not only the highest quality products, but also products which are environmental sound. Our company introduced our environmental management system based on the perception that efficient management is essential for maintaining a competitive edge and improvement the quality of life. We are urging ourselves on to develop new technology through Capital investment and ongoing cooperation wish university laboratories. Our mission is to contribute to the industrial development of Korea. Toward these efforts, Yoowon Industries Co. Lad. has been recognized as a promising small company by the Ministry of Science and Technology and as a vision 21 leading enterprise, by the Small and Medium Industry Bureau. In Addition, our relationship with Mitsubishi and Kanagawakiki promotes the localization of Korean shipbuilding. Yoowon Industries Co. Ltd. takes pride in the fact that it has developed a strong domestic and export market. We are well aware of the importance of the export market and have driven ourselves to continue developing this area. We have a great deal of experience in this field, as we export our goods through the five largest shipyards in Korea and have continuously improved our sates. We recently met our export goal of 10 million dollars (US) after achieving, first our 1 million dollar (US) exporting goal and then our 5 million dollar (US) exporting goal. These accomplishments resulted in our receiving awards of distinction from the Korean government. Accumulated technology and our experience, based on 25 years continual effort, led to the development of the worlds highest capacity steering gear (1000T-M) and the development of our rotary vane sleeting gear.
